An Entertaining Lifestyle
A Flow of Living™ Case Study

You love to entertain. The challenge is you want a home that is equally adept at intimate dinner parties and large social gatherings. Enter the Galiant Flow of Living™ design approach. Working with you we find that most of your dinner parties are based around wine, music and conversation. Because most of the family meals are centered around the kitchen you forgo the formal dining room in favor of a larger kitchen with a spacious dining area and a huge center island with lots of stool seating. The kitchen opens on an informal living area with plenty of seating for when it’s more than family.

Since a wine cellar was always on the list of must-haves, we expand the cellar to include an intimate dining table for up to 6, with a small cafe feel to the room. A wine tasting bar allows you to enjoy an aperitif with your quests before dinner. A caterer’s kitchen, hidden behind one of the floor-to-ceiling wine racks leads to the main kitchen so everything you need to prepare and serve a perfect meal is at hand. Old style gas lamps, distressed wood decor and a hidden audio system all add to the intimate cafe environment designed to encourage enjoyment of the food, wine and company.
